Our Beliefs
We fully realize that sincere Christians have differing interpretations of doctrine. We do not claim omniscience. The following represents our understanding, to the best of our ability, and the reasons for that understanding. These beliefs underlie the entire ministry.
- We believe in one living, almighty God, eternally existing in three persons as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent; He is infinite, perfect, abundant in love, and deserving of our worship.
- We believe that God created the heavens and earth out of nothing by His spoken word.
- We believe the Bible is the living, eternal Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. Its contents are entirely true, without error in the original writing, and serve as the ultimate authority in all they say.
- We believe that God created man in His image for His glory, but man fell into the original sin when Adam and Eve rebelled against God’s commands in the Garden. Since then man has been born with a sinful nature which separates him from God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Mary, a virgin, lived a sinless life, and submitted to death on a cross. His body was resurrected and He ascended into heaven where he now exists as Lord of Lords and Advocate for believers.
- We believe that Jesus Christ willingly and obediently died for the redemption of man as part of the divine plan. His sacrificial death and shed blood were the ultimate sacrifice, achieving victory over death and sin for all who choose to believe in Him.
- We believe that those who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, believe in His redeeming power to conquer sin and death, and accept His sacrifice will receive forgiveness, salvation, and everlasting life.
- We believe that when man chooses to trust and follow Christ, the Holy Spirit indwells him at that point and transforms man into a new creation, sealed for eternity.
- We believe that God created the Church as one holy, universal body of believers to glorify God, build up its members in Christ-likeness, and advance the gospel to the ends of the earth.
- We believe in the existence of Satan as the chief enemy of God and all that is good. His defeat is assured.
- We believe that Jesus Christ will return in glorious victory and power to bring the world to an end in His own timing. At that time the whole human race will be resurrected physically to be judged by Christ. Those who have trusted Christ will join Him in heaven to live eternally.
